Spent so much time at the jiu jitsu gym, I might as well build a website. I loved working through the design challenge of a filterable calendar for each program. Plus, the mobile menu is super sweet.

I'll put out some unsolicited advice that is relevant right now: if your marketing plan, your business direction feels super overwhelming to you right now-- stop using you're Claude or ChatGPT as your 'thought partner.'

Empathizing with real clients, or understanding what they experience and feel before/during/after engaging a professional like you can not be done well with the mixed up content from your chatbot.

I often tried to jump ahead of this step to get to the solutions and then had to come back. Your chatbot will leave you feeling confused and in a loop of endless ideas if you bypass this important step.

When designing a website for a law firm it's so important to express the client experience offered along with the legal service. And, of course, keep compliant to the rules and regulation laid out by the bar association. If you're looking for a website to attract, inform and connect with clients, reach out.

Over the weekend, a creator that I had purchased from before launched another digital offer that I was excited to check out.

It had a great price point: 20 bucks

She did a great job talking about it on Instagram and I trust her because the last online mini-course I bought from her was incredible. I DM'd to get the link to the sales page, and what I saw was an obvious Claude designed sales page... I couldn't even bring myself to read it.

I'm not anti-AI by any means; I share a conflicted view on it as do many of my colleagues. I get really sad when I see bullying comments on Facebook to business owners who post AI-generated flyers, because damn it, do you know how much work goes into creating an offer that you're judging from the sidelines!?!

The thing is; I read SO MUCH writing generated with or by AI. It doesn't feel valuable anymore. I see those visual cues or the 'it's not X it's Z', and I bounce.

So, yeah, it was $20, from someone I respect, and is probably a great course, but it's a no for me.

Janiece emailed me: "I started a new role and need to update my website."
She's a startup attorney, just made Partner at a new firm. I went in to make the edits and got reminded how much I love this site.
Her photo. Her story. What she does, who she works with, how to reach her. One page, and you feel like you've met her.
It's been live for over a year and this is its first real update. Firms change, titles change, your website stays yours.
